Subject:Has it really been over 2 months?!!
Time:11:33 pm.
Mood: content.
Sorry!

Let's see, this could be a long long post!!

So....so so so so so....where to start. I'm gonna go with America, since that's pretty much what I told you last time! Yup, end of April (3rd week of Easter holidays) I went to North Carolina, it was really good - nice weather, fantastic people, good shopping, no work, what more could you want?!

And since then it was school placement, which is why I haven't updated in such a long time really! Since the end of Easter up til 3 weeks ago I was on my school placement, at a school in Harpenden if you remember?
And after Easter it really did kick off. I had so much more to do! We're talking stupid loads of work a night, 2-3 hours normally. Which really had an effect! To do that on top of Cubs and Beavers was quite wearing! But I got through, by the skin of my teeth I think! The first time my tutor came in she said that she was thinking about failing me. It happened again the second time, but when she came in third time (I was teaching a literacy lesson about Odes, which went really well, and the kids produced some fantastic work which I now have in a book) she couldn't fault the lesson at all! So, yeah, skin of my teeth really.
But I passed! And that's all that matters! In theory I now have a BEd degree, and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - just gotta find a job...

And that's the hard part. Problem was when I was on my school placement most of the teaching jobs were around. Except because I had so much work I didn't have time to apply for any jobs - it was a bit stupid really! I've now had chance to apply for some, but there aren't many around any more! I've now applied for 3 jobs - one in St. A, one in Hatfield and one in Harpenden. The St. A one I couldn't get because I was away during the week of the interviews (more on that later), the deadline for Hatfield is Monday, so just waiting, and Harpenden's deadline was yesterday, so hopefully will hear about that soon... Will keep you updated!

So, enough about teaching! Now for Beavers! I'm fairly sure I mentioned that I was asked to take over another Beaver colony, but originally it was only until July. However, this term has been really good, the colony is back on it's feet, and all the kids are really enjoying it. I've got a waiting list of 5 (from an original list of 0), and from a colony that started off at 15 I've now got 18, and 2 have left to go to Cubs since then! At some point or another I've also had at least half the parents tell me I'm doing a really good job! So I decided to continue leading the colony next term (and onwards). I've had support from the woman who was helping, who is now gonna take her warrant and become my ABSL, and have got 3 young leaders as well, so that's going really well!

Still working at Specsavers, which is pretty good. I had a mystery shopper in recently, I was the one who served her. I should probably explain, a mystery shopper is someone who comes in, and has to look for particular things in customer service, and you get rated from those. I got 95%! Dropping only 2 marks from one small part, which I hate doing, cos I feel it can be an invasion of privacy. But, yeah, 95%! Highest ever for the store apparently, so I must be good at my job!

So what have I been doing since I finished school? Not much, but a lot at the same time (ok, that makes no sense - sorry!). It's been really nice to have some time off, so I did take a few days relaxing, but otherwise I've been applying for jobs, I had a tutor meeting on one day, and I've had a load of Beavers work to do. But that's no excuse - apologies for not updating sooner!

The other thing that happened recently is that I went to Malta! Was in Malta last week, with Stu. Looking back I haven't actually told you about Stu yet (well, you all know mostly!), yeah, Stu is my boyfriend, of just over 3 months now, and it's going really well!

So, Malta. We left early Saturday morning, and arrived in Malta mid-afternoon. We were staying in a town called Buġibba, it's in the NW of Malta, next to a place called Qawra (pronounced Ow-ra, the q is silent), and St. Paul's Bay. All three towns are actually connected, so kinda one town, but...three. Anyway, we were there for a week, it was a really nice hotel, rooftop pool, fairly fancy. Quite a tiring holiday actually, most days we were out on tours, cos we decided that the only way we were gonna see anything was by going on the tours. They were good tours...mostly, but tiring!
The problem with Malta is that it's kind of expensive. I suppose it didn't help that we were both on a budget, but Malta's the only place in the world where the currency is stronger than Britain. Or at least you have the round the money up, instead of down. Ok, I'm not making much sense, how's this, in America £1 is roughly $2, in Eurozone £1 is roughly €1.50 (I think), but in Malta £1 is about 60 cents, so 1Lm (Maltese Lira) is £1.69. It's kinda deceptive at first, but then you realise how much things cost!

So, this week, we're going to the woods on Monday evening with the Beavers, provided it's not raining, stupid rain. Wednesday at Wheatfields, and Friday is their sports day, which is always good - I do the scoring, and always enjoy it! Also got Sandridge bbq on Friday evening, which is £5 I could have done without spending, but I can't really not go! So, we're praying for not rain Monday evening please, it worked last Monday evening (we did orienteering with the Beavers and the Rainbows - it went really really well, better than I could have imagined!) and yesterday evening (I was at the zoo), and ideally some nice warm sunny weather on Thursday and Friday, so the field isn't too wet for sports day!

In other news: No smoking ban tomorrow! Hooray! It's about time!

Subject:America
Time:12:38 pm.
Mood: tired.
So, this morning I got home from America.

Yeah, I don't think I even told you I was going to America. But I did, for a week and a day. North Carolina, the same place I went to last year. I had a good time. There's not much to do, it's not exactly touristy, but I still enjoyed it, getting away and all...

The problem is now I have to get back to doing stuff - which sucks big time! I have geography lesson plans, which is great, since I don't even know how to adapt the unit. It's all about building a bypass, which isn't gonna happen in Harpenden. The unit suggests altering it for some other environmental issue, but the only major one in that area was the refuse depot, which was expanded to solve the problems a couple of years ago. This leaves me...high and dry. If anyone else has any ideas of stuff I could do...

I also need to start job hunting...ugh...

Anyway, too tired and stressed to type anything else!

Subject:A school post
Time:12:44 am.
Mood:Nothing.
Cos that pretty much is all that's been happening recently.

I started the school placement on the 1st, was there 1st and 2nd, then the weekend (which was uneventful), then 5th, 6th and 7th, and since then I've been off.

The school is interesting, it's in Harpenden, which automatically made me think "posh" but...it's not. From what I can gather there are some kinda well off kids there, but there are also some not so well off (and probably council estate) kids.
They're a mixture of ability, but (and I'm not sure if this is my bad judgement or too high standards) but they seem lowish for how they should be.
Anyway, getting to grips with them slowly! They're obsessed with asking me my age, which I refuse to tell them!
The current success story, I've been working with a kid called Connor, who is low ability. The thing is, he does know what he's doing, but he needs to support to give him the initial push, once that's done it normally clicks. Anyway, I've been working with him, and the other day in English they were copying off the board, and I looked at his book afterwards and his spelling was shocking. He didn't copy off the board properly, just copied the word how he thought it was spelt. And it was...really bad. So, since then I've been pushing him on his spellings. They were rewriting some metaphors, and I made him copy the words exactly, and a cloze procedure they had to do, and his smile when he finished, realised it was all perfect was fantastic! He realised why I made him do it.
While working with him in maths he asked me when I was leaving (cos they know I'm only there temporarily, but they think I'm "another teacher", not a student), and when I said May half term, he told me that I shouldn't go, cos he didn't want me to!

See what I mean now Ster?

Everything else is fairly...not special. I got 2 young leaders at the new Beavers now, which is pretty good - need to work on using them as much as possible! Assignments are almost over! Forever!! Only one more left to write...but I gotta do it all tomorrow. Which kinda sucks.

Oh, my mp3 player broke, which is baaaaaaaaaaaad, but I persuaded my parents to lend me money for a new one - the Sony NWA1200 (8GB), only £100 from play.com, which is excellent :-D

And I turn 21 on Tuesday! Scary thought! But it does mean I should be getting a new phone! About time too!

In other news: Final Fantasy XII = goooooooooood. Not sure how it is compared to the others yet though, not got far enough!

Subject:Ok, feeling better now...slightly
Time:9:59 pm.
Mood: sleepy.
Yeah, last week finished, finally...

Weds was uni, Thurs was uni, Friday was work, Saturday was Young Leader training, not too bad, boring at times though, and Sunday was work.

And then, after 3 and a half weeks solid, I had a day off! Yes, an actual day off!! And you have no idea how much better I felt for it! I didn't think that overwork affected me, never has before, but then all of a sudden, it did. Someone said they reckoned it was borderline depression, which was a scary thought! Hopefully I'm out of it now though...

Except school starts on Thursday. My school placement. Still not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not... My mentor is my old year 5 teacher, so it could go really well, or really badly! Will keep you posted!

I started my new Beavers yesterday, it was really good! There were only 14, so it seemed quieter than normal (when you're used to 25 or 40 boys (25 Beavers on Fri, 25 Cubs on Thurs and 40 Cubs on Tues) 14 isn't many!) I don't know if 14 was the norm, or if there are one or two who couldn't go, but I'll find out next week... Am kinda looking forward to it!

So, yeah, things are better, I'm still tired-ish, but getting there...

In other news: Have been invited to another PP meet, in the Netherlands. I don't think it's gonna be too expensive, so I'm thinking about going...

Subject:A random post
Time:11:10 pm.
Mood: annoyed.
Possibly not the best time to post it, since I'm absolutely knackered, but never mind!

Anyway, half term (not that it was half term for me, but whatever) was a pretty good week. Amatoria came over from Germany, we went to London, and stuff. Was v good fun. Friday I went up to Bradford for PP convention, which was also much fun. Met 3 very nice people there, 2 girls and a guy, the girls were 23 and 18, and the most genuine people I think I've ever met. There was no problem with anything I said, or with anything I did or didn't do - they were fantastic! Would love to meet them again!

Except now that half term's over, all the work has suddenly hit me again. I haven't really had a proper rest day since before Gang Show, so I'm practically dead on my feet!

I was persuaded to take on the 2nd St A Beavers, so now I'm running one Beavers, practically running the other, and helping at 2 Cub packs. Not particularly happy about doing the 2nd Beavers, but if I didn't do it, then no one would, which would be a shame. The DC (district commissioner) has managed to get someone else to do it, who I don't always see eye to eye with, so it could be interesting. And she was bitching behind my back to one of the Cubs leaders... The plan for Beavers though is to run both colonies with the same programme, seems easier that way...

Recently though I seem to have been quite annoyed. Just...because. I can't think of any valid reason why I should be annoyed, just at little things. I was on Myspace earlier, found myself getting annoyed at Rauridh. For no reason, he wasn't even online. But just because he's so confident, and has so many friends, and yet...in reality, to use someone elses words, he's a cock.
And sitting in this afternoon's lecture (maths - division) I just...ended up coming out of it in a bad mood. Don't know why, just did...

And something that crossed my mind in half term, I was up town, and a kid (well...15 yo) who used to be one of my year 7s said hello to me. I wouldn't have been surprised if he didn't say hello to me, and yet he did. And I just thought, isn't it funny how the tiniest of things can make you smile. Just that one hello, he put no thought into it, and yet by saying it, he made me smile, and just lifted my day. And it really is those small things that make you smile - hearing a song you like on the radio that you haven't heard in forever, getting a response back to a message you posted that you weren't expecting (or from a person you wouldn't have expected to respond), a hug from someone who you wouldn't have expected a hug from. Just small things, done with no thought at all, but they make a huge difference to someone's day.

And while I've been typing that, I've been wondering, do I do stuff like that? I don't think I do, perhaps I don't improve other people's days? I dunno...

I also phoned my placement school today, going to visit on Thursday afternoon (after school time, which I thought was v weird...), could be interesting. My mentor is either my old year 5 teacher (which would be v bad!) or a different teacher from my old school (which would be v good!), praying for good!

In other news: Birthday in 3 weeks (wow, 3 weeks exactly, apparently!), America in 8 weeks!

(And, out of interest, anyone fancy making an Avenue Q icon? It Sucks to be Me? Cheers!)

Time:9:30 pm.
Mood: happy.
So, since the last time I posted (which seems like ages ago!) my life has pretty much been Gang Show, all the way. Well, ok, I lie, up til show week I did uni, Beavers, Cubs, the usual!

In other news: Amatoria's coming over tomorrow from Germany! V v excited!

(Wow, this took me 2 hours to write, cos I was talking on msn and various other things as well!)

Subject:A proper update (or Arrgh! Too much work!)
Time:10:28 am.
Mood: apathetic.
Ok, so last time I updated I gave you a list of music. I've since found songs which I've been tempted to add, but haven't...

Which makes the time before that the last time I updated. And since then...nothing particularly interesting has happened! I've suddenly become overloaded with work, which isn't much fun! I have two assignments to do by the 2nd and 6th of February, and on top of that, I have to work at Specsavers, and do Gang Show...all so I can come out the other side of Gang Show and do two more assignments!

Talking of Gang Show, it's still good fun. We have loads of new people this year, and they're all small people! (Well, when I say small I mean young, as in...year 7/8/9). I was giving Fraser a lift into rehearsal the other day and I mentioned that there'll be loads of them going on the tour of the Arena this year (when it's your first year in GS you have to have a tour of the Arena), and told me that there'll "only be 40". Only 40...out of a cast of 115...

But anyway, like every year, we seem way behind with Gang Show... it should all be alright on the night, as is usual, but it's always a little disconcerting to be so far behind!

Anyway, I suppose I'd better get on with some work...:-(

In other news: School placements have all been confirmed now - I'm going to Harpenden!

Subject:Music
Time:11:03 pm.
Mood:musical.
So I was thinking about music. More specifically, how (almost) reliant on it we are. If we didn't have music then life would probably get boring quite quickly...

So I decided on a list, of songs I love. Songs I can't get enough of, starting with my most recent ones...

Doomsday - from the Doctor Who Soundtrack. This was the track played in the last episode of S2, when Rose died, with the Oooooo lady singing through it. I love this! So emotional, so easy to listen to. A song that could instantly calm you down...

Thank You for the Days - Kirsty McColl. This is a Gang Show 2007 song. Not only do the lyrics ring true, it kinda does what it says on the tin, it's thanking someone for the days you've spent with them. It's a special song to me because I'm singing a duet in it, my first proper singing role in a Gang Show.

Sing Sing Sing - a big band song, again from GS2007. I'm not even sure if that's the exact title, we call it that at Gang Show, but when I downloaded it it came up with Sing, Swing, Sing. I dunno... Anyway, once you hear this you just wanna get up and dance, it's just that kinda song.

Yeah Yeah - Bodyrox. Ok, slightly more specialised than the other three. This was something I first heard when I was working at Game, and it's just...infectious. It grows on you. And grows, and grows...

Everyone's A Little Bit Racist - Avenue Q. There had to be an Avenue Q song in here. In fact, there are gonna be three...I decided to limit myself! :-p Anyway, this one is just...funny. I love it because it's so true, but also because of the way it's been written and sung.

Special - Avenue Q. This is a bit more of a weird choice. I really like the voice it's sung in, don't know why, cos there's nothing special about it, just...I like the song, I like the way it is sung...

There's a Fine, Fine Line - Avenue Q. Another weird choice. This one is more hard hitting, again the lyrics ring true, and the way it's sung appeals again...

Never Tear Us Apart - Tom Jones ft. Natalie Imbruglia. I am aware this is a cover. But there are two things that appeal to me on this one, the contrast between the voice. Natalie Imbruglia's voice is fairly soft and unobtrusive, whereas Tom Jones is strong and loud, and, strangely enough, it works really well. The other thing is the smoothness of the female voice throughout. I love female vocalists, and something like in this one works really well!

Carnaval de Paris - Dario G. Most well known for being a football song, I think it's the opening theme to football on Sky One, or something. But I like it because of the instrumental variety in it. I reckon he must use about 20 different instruments at least, making it the same song, but different. Also, the track is just...fun, the music is fun music. Sounds strange to say, but you know what I mean :-p

Reach - S Club 7. How sad eh? This was a song we did in GS2001, so it brings back memories from then. But also, it's an instant cheer up song. I dunno, one of those guilty pleasures. And you all love it too!

Thank You - Dido. How can a song thanking someone for being there sound so sad? This is my "I'm sad and want to listen to sad music" song. It just has that effect. Dido has a really powerful voice, without the voice actually being powerful, it just affects me...

Crossing Those Hills - Final Fantasy IX Soundtrack. I almost didn't put this in, but then realised that I could actually listen to this constantly, over and over and over. It plays on the world map in FFIX, and is just...relaxing and chilled, but unlike some relaxing music, things actually happen. Another weird term to describe music, but there we go...

Do Your Thing - Basement Jaxx. But it has to be the album version, not the Greatest Hits version! There are some slight differences! This track just...moves. It's just exciting, bouncy, and fun. I dunno, you can't fail not to love this tune!

Last one, in a change of theme, Ironic - Alanis Morisette. However, the acoustic version is much better than the album version! A couple of changes of lyrics, and it just sounds more natural. I am aware that the song is all about bad things happening, but it's a fantastic song!

So, a very brief, mostly incomprehensible journey through my music. It's probably mostly incomplete, but these are tracks I love, can't get enough of them! Strangely enough, throughout typing this I haven't been listening to any of them, instead I had the Rogue Traders CD on, cos I bought it today. That finished a minute ago, so I put on Doomsday, cos I bought that CD earlier too, and cos it's on my list!

In other news: I have 2 assignments due in for the beginning of February, haven't started on either!

Subject:Time for an update?
Time:10:54 pm.
Mood: sick.
Yeah, thought I should probably update you.

Christmas came, and went. Nothing special, but it was a fairly nice day.

Had to work a lot between Christmas and New Year, which kinda sucked, but I did win £10 from it. At Specsavers, every week, they run a competition for collection of glasses, whoever does the most (fitting them on the patient and stuff) wins £10. I've won it twice (possibly three times now, I haven't been in town to check yet...)

Have also been working at Game, which is alright, but that gets quite annoying. Have finished there now though, since it was only a Christmas job. The manager was complaining the other day because they didn't give him any extra contracts, he's got 3 full time contracts, one 20 hour, and two 4 hour contracts. The full time contracts go to him, the deputy manager and the senior sales assistant. The problem is the deputy manager has been off about 6 weeks, and she only started 3 weeks before she went off sick, so she doesn't know much. And the senior sales assistant is fairly incompentent... Which leaves him with a fairly useless team really!

My Dad went into hospital on the 2nd, not good. He went for a run, came back having breathing difficulties, and got taken to hospital in an ambulance. He had an angiogram yesterday, and they've found some minor heart disease, but even so, that's not exactly a good thing...

So, a bit of a chaotic time at home really! Back at uni now, which isn't much fun, but never mind! Except I had the day off today, cos I was feeling ill. With any luck I'll be better by tomorrow...

Subject:Christmas *rolls eyes*
Time:10:29 pm.
Mood:bad/sad/angry.
Yeah, that time of year.

Not necessarily the favourite time for a lot of people, and, I will say now, I'm not normally that bothered by the stresses or anything, but for the past two years it's been worse than normal...

But, before that, spose I should probably update you since last time...

We had all our carpets put down, we had our new freezer, all looks pretty good now. And I'm still getting taxed from Game, which is annoying, and hopefully it'll be properly sorted by next pay day, they did say they sent it second class on a date quite close to last pay day, so it probably wasn't actioned before then.

But I did get my Wii! It's excellent, the controls actually work much better than I thought they would, although Zelda is harder to get into than previous Zelda games. Wii Sports and Wii Play are quite good fun, if a little simplistic, and sometimes quite boring/repetitive after a while. And Rayman is RIDICULOUSLY difficult - the time limits are very small, and some of the games get very difficult very quickly, but it's still a pretty good game.

What else has happened? I've been working...a lot. Which is good for money, but bad for energy levels!

Oh! My computer died, which is why you've not heard from me much, I'm using my Dad's computer, which is rubbish - I need a new one, but that kinda money is quite hard to come by!

So, why is Christmas time bad? Well, this time last year (in fact a year and 2 days ago exactly), my Dad was in hospital having his appendix out.
Last night, my Mum was admitted to hospital...to have her appendix out. She's fine now, out of theatre and everything...

And this morning my uncle died from cancer. It was expected, they said he wasn't going to survive to see last Christmas, never mind almost this one, but when it's all happening together...

So, yeah, not exactly fun times, and I still haven't started any Christmas shopping!

In other news: "Do you have any Nintendo Wiis in stock?" "I know it's a long shot, but I'm after a Wii" "I was hoping you might have stocks of Wiis" "Do you know when you're getting any more Wiis?" "Any idea when I can get a Nintendo Wii?" "Do you have this new Nintendo thing? Is it the 'Why'?" "My kids are really after a Nintendo Wii for Christmas..."
Some people fail to realise how much I really don't care, and how stupid they really are...

Subject:So I'm bored...
Time:4:18 pm.
Mood: bored.
...so I thought I'd bore you lot!

Actually, nothing very exciting has happened recently - just the same old boring stuff.

We started doing dances to Gang Show on Sunday, it seems like we're behind with the dancing, but we've done more songs than we'd done by this time last year (I think), so I suppose it balances out. But when you're doing an Opening with no singing, just dancing...makes you wonder...

The house has been absolute chaos too, we've had the kitchen, utility room and cloakroom refloored downstairs, and my parents' bedroom refloored upstairs, so there's been furniture all over the place. The freezer is also still in the dining room, cos we're getting a new freezer, but it kinda limits the console playing space...

I also worked out how much I need for the Wii, next Friday. £260! I have £120, and hopefully, next Friday, I'll get paid the extra, although Game were taxing me last week, so I phoned the tax office, and it shouldn't happen again...

Subject:Computer troubles 2
Time:12:52 pm.
Mood: hopeful.
And this time they're worse than ever!

When Emma went to America she gave me her old computer, which I then cannabalised to put into my computer. Bad idea, as it turns out. I put her RAM, her hard drive and her graphics card into mine.

When I did the computer started crashing, just freezing every so often. Accroding to Darren, who's good with computers, it was the RAM, so we took that out and everything was fine for a few days. Until it started freezing again. I decided I was gonna live with it...but one day it blue screened. XP blue screened. Nobody else I've spoken to has ever seen this...

But it was probably a one off, won't happen again. Lies! It did... I decided the hard drive was to blame, so I unplugged it, thinking everything would be fine... But nooooooooo. Last resort, replace the graphics card with my original one. Especially after Firefox decided to delete all my bookmarks. Every single one. Didn't delete the history though, just the bookmarks... Everything was fine...

Until this morning! The screen froze, flickered a bit, and then came back telling me hardware rendering wasn't right, or something *shrugs*. So, system restore, which didn't help at all, but, everything seems to be working now. No flickering screens (yet...), and all I did was push the card in a bit more...

With any luck that's it!

Mystic Theurge

7% Combativeness, 10% Sneakiness, 76% Intellect, 66% Spirituality

Brilliant and spiritual! You are a Mystic Theurge!

Score! You have a prestige class. A prestige class can only be taken after you’ve fulfilled certain requirements. This may mean that you’re an exceptionally talented person, but it probably doesn't.

The Mystic Theurge is a combination of a cleric and a mage. They can cast both arcane and divine spells, and are good at both, making them pretty terrifying on the battlefield. They have more raw spellpower than just about any other class.

You're both intelligent and faithful, but not violent or deceitful. I guess that makes you a pretty good person.

Subject:Rain + Cars + Braking + Women = not good
Time:11:45 pm.
Mood:Kinda shaken, kinda annoyed.
So, what's happened since New York?

On Thursday I went to Blackpool with Emma, Steve and Darren. It seemed like it took forever to get there - there was a massive queue on the M6!
On the way we stopped in Coventry, to meet Sarah (Eradicat), my 8th pirate outside of Blackpool! V exciting, and she was really nice, and we got on really well, just wanna go back now!

Anyway, we got to Blackpool, to go to Fourking's hotel. He's another pirate, he gave us discount rates, and it really was an excellent hotel!

In Blackpool we didn't actually do much, did a couple of Pleasure Beach rides, went up the Tower, and did shopping, and that was about it!

Sunday was the singing auditions at Gang Show. They seemed to go alright, I know I can sing (and so do a lot of other people!), but when it gets to it, it all changes! They probably won't give me a solo cos I'm in the retard group, cos I can't dance.

(There is actually a retard group at Gang Show, it's not called that, and they never specify who's in it, but you can tell when you get stuck at the back a lot, or get the really unimaginative dance moves!)

And then I had to go back to university. I had missed two weeks straight, which isn't exactly a good thing to do! So I went back, very boring, as usual.

And now life's back to normal. Have started working at Game, which is kind of a bit different. We had a looooooooooong staff meeting last night. Meant to be 6.30-7.30. We ended up starting at about 7, and going through til half 9. I was not impressed. But my team won the task thing. Whether or not it was thanks to my leadership, I dunno *shrugs*

And then this evening, the bit that actually relates to the heading. Was driving to Mrs Scott's house this evening, cos I was going babysitting for her kids, stopped at the traffic lights, when I hear a screech, and the next thing I know, I've been shunted from behind. It wasn't bad, couldn't see any damage to the car, but it was annoying! I was the third car in a chain. The first car braked, didn't leave enough time and hit the car behind me, which then ran into me. I wasn't hurt, and I don't think the car's been damaged, I could have done without it though. And I felt bad for the other women, whose cars were damaged, and it kinda shook me up a bit, I don't really wanna drive to Milton Keynes tomorrow now. But I know if I don't then it'll only make my confidence worse...

Yeah, tomorrow, am going to Milton Keynes with Darren and Emma. Should be good. And it's the Gang Show quiz tomorrow evening - another quiz for us to lose! Hooray!

But I did get a text earlier reminding me about tomorrow's meal out for Cub camp (which was back in April), so I accidentally double booked myself! Will enjoy GS quiz more, so am going to that!

In other news: Am getting a new bed delivered tomorrow! And have got way too many assignments to do!

Subject:So good they named it twice
Time:11:40 pm.
Mood: excited.
New York, apparently. I think it's song lyrics, but if anyone can confirm that, that'd be great! (And tell me which song - "New York, New York, so good they named it twice" in case you had no idea what I was going on about!)

Yeah, I spent half term, 23rd-30th October in New York. It was absolutely fantastic! I want to go back, spend at least another week!

So now you get a holiday diary! Wooo! I'll try to make it as interesting as possible for you!
Holiday diary! )
In other news: Got a stroppy email from one of my university lecturers...oops!

Subject:I completely forgot...!
Time:10:23 pm.
Mood: hyper.
When I posted last, I completely forgot to say I got another job! I went into Game on Thursday afternoon, just on the off chance, and they told me that I'd got the Christmas temp job I was interviews for last week! I was well pleased - discount, and extra money!

And apparently I outshone everyone at the interview! :-D

Anyway, that's enough bragging!

In other news: Sarah had a car accident yesterday :-( But she's fine! Am going to go meet/visit her on the way to Blackpool, very excited! New York in 2 days too!

Subject:Maths tests, London and more tiredness!
Time:2:22 pm.
Mood: tired.
Well, the week started out alright, fairly normal, uni and not much else! No Cubs on Tuesday cos I was babysitting. Gang Show on Weds, the usual.

Yesterday I had booked to go to London again, to do my maths QTS test. Except I was late to the actual test centre, by ten minutes, so I couldn't actually do the test. Very annoyed - mainly cos it's a waste of £10. I'd planned to meet up with Ster, so I did that, except the problem with that was that it meant I spent more money! Not good! Especially when you see the list I have of stuff to buy in NY!

The other problem with walking around London is that it's very tiring. Something made worse by the fact I hadn't had much sleep the night before, and made even worse by our 8 o'clock lecture this morning. Yes, 8 o'clock. Very nasty of them. 8-9, 10-12.30, 1.15-2 and 3-4, all in one day. Very tired now!

And I still have Beavers later *rolls eyes*

In other news: I found Suikoden 5 in Game in Oxford Street yesterday, I didn't even know it existed! And New York in 3 days!
